Towards the end, we might have muddled our Brush-tailed phascogales (small, nocturnal, carnivorous marsupials) with our Long-nosed bandicoots (solitary, opportunistic omnivores), as our energy levels flagged, but we loved every minute of the eighth NGV Melbourne Art Book Fair. They are a wonderfully intense experience.
Thank-you, as always, for taking an interest in what we do. Thank-you for purchasing a zine for your pocket to serve as a pick-me-up landscape escape, a book for a friend. Your support means so much to us, and we are delighted to hear you are enjoying learning more about and seeing the handful of wildlife fosters we have had, and continue to have, the pleasure of knowing as their glorious wild and wonderful selves.

Back in the same spot of the hall as 2018, Louise and I also enjoyed hearing that so many of you thought our price labels were small, weathered tombstones. We had cut them with rocks and boulders in mind, but love this headstone reading. Assembling this gallery of memories, we see just what you mean.
We are delighted that editions of Bracketed by light have been acquired by the National Library of Australia, State Library of New South Wales, State Library Victoria, and University of Melbourne’s Baillieu Library.
And thank-you to everyone who also swung by our stall by chance or design as part of the Castlemaine Art Museum satellite event book fair in the blue of the gallery. If you missed the chance to leaf through an edition of Bracketed by light, or thumb through a zine, we’ve since updated our online store with the remaining editions.

We had intended to quickly document our newest zines for our online store in the green embrace of the Royal Botanic Gardens, but, owing to the lure of the unfurled map, and a change of pace, we were reminded to loosen the grip of A to B walks.
Between that and the ringtails there seems to be a gentle nudge to slow down.
